MULTIPLE SYNCHRONOUS SMALL BOWEL ADENOCARCINOMAS IN A CASE OF BOWEL OBSTRUCTION DUE TO FAECALOMAS SECONDARY TO MULTIPLE STRICTURES - A DIAGNOSTIC SURPRISE

Small bowel adenocarcinoma(SBA)is a rare neoplasm presenting usually in elderly patients as single tumour. Multiple synchronous SBA is unique and difficult to diagnose due non-specific presentations.Faecalomas have been described association with Hirschsprungs disease, psychiatric patients, Chagas both inflammatory neoplastic conditions, suffering chronic constipation.We herein report case of multiple faecalomas secondary small strictures leading obstruction patient previous history pulmonary tuberculosis.Thepatient was successfully treated surgically. The on histopathology turned out be low grade adenocarcinoma. well fecalomas are individually entities, their combined occurrence even rarer.
